"This CD is a very solid, excellently produced country/pop effort. Ronna Reeves' music possesses a level of professionalism that is missing from most country singers popping up these days. The fact that she is not a perennial top-ten hitmaker is proof that the industry is hopelessly lost in a miasma.Sadly, I understand that Ronna has decided to pursue her future away from country music. It's Nashville's loss....BUY this CD!!! If you like country music OR pop music, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!!!!"
Ronna's last country album

"After three country albums on a major label, Ronna signed to the ill-fated River North label, which only survived for a few months. Ronna clearly felt that she had more freedom with this album than with her earlier efforts but, like those, this album failed to yield a major hit single despite an outstanding set of songs and Ronna's excellent vocals.
The album, recorded in a contemporary country style, should please all but the most die-hard traditionalists. Brilliant up-tempo songs like Rodeo man, Not yet but I'm getting there, I don't know nothing at all, Big night out and One way ticket, plus superb ballads like Collect from Wichita, Next train out, Mind over matters of the heart and the title track make this a very enjoyable album.
Since River North folded, Ronna has (as far as I know) recorded only one more album, in which she abandoned country music altogether, aiming squarely at the pop and rock market. I never heard that album, but it also failed to make the hoped-for impact. Nevertheless, Ronna's four country albums (including this one) are all of a high quality and well worth a listen."

"Everything about this album is great. Ronna's voice is great. It's strong, expressive, and has just the right accent to it. She puts power into the fast, lively songs, such as "Rodeo Man", which is one of my favorite songs in any genre, and she puts emotion into the ballads. The fast songs have a great beat to them. The listener is left wanting to play the album back again right away, starting with "Rodeo Man.""
My very favorite female artist.

"This Texas Artist is the very best and After The Dance is a beautiful example of the talent she brings to country music. I always watch the Statler Bros. T.V. Show when she is a guest singer. I am her No. 1 Fan. Just wish I knew where and when I could see and hear her more on TV."
