In 1964, at the age of 15, Rory would make the long subway trip to Davis' home to take guitar lessons along with her friend Stefan Grossman. Rory Block is THE most acclaimed female acoustic blues artist. Rory actively tours internationally and each new release is a high profile occasion in the blues community. She is nominated for two 2012 Blues Music Awards.
