Awful and not reflective of her brilliance

"Rory Block is the best country blues guitarist and singer on the planet today. She was trained as a kid by the elder statesmen of the blues, people like Son House and Mississippi John Hurt, and she has done more than anyone to honor their legacy. My respect for her is boundless. That's why I am incredulous that she created this just-plain-awful album. The idea of producing an album of children's music is not inherently bad, but the execution on this album was terrible. Every song on this album made me cringe. I could not even listen to the album in its entirety. Even as a Rory Block completist, I chose to discard this album and try to forget that a woman whom I admire so much was ever capable of creating such garbage."
