"This is really 8 discs of nothing. Rosie is hoarse and off-key on many of the tunes, and a couple of discs suffer from terrible sound. (A rarity for Bear Family.) There's a disastrous turn into country, and a horrific "western" series of songs with Bing. On the plus side, it containes 2 other "travelin'" LP's with Bing, and the Nelson Riddle stuff, "Love" and "Swingin' Riddle". There's also a lot of rare and unreleased 60's girly-pop sides, that don't do Rosie any good, but might delight some Rosie fan from the novelty. The Perez Prado LP is here, too, with 2 or 3 additional cuts not on the LP (All in stereo), and the incredible religious LP. (Not for everyone, but I liked it alot. ) Oh, and the kid's record is on here, too, and some lousy duets with Jose. Over-all, a disappointment, especially at that price. My advice would be to get the "Love" and "Swingin' Riddle" cd's, the Bing+Rosie 2-fer cd, try to track down an import of the Prado LP, and forget the rest of this, unless you're a Rosie die-hard."
