"This is the most awesome collection of early country female vocalists I have ever seen!!! Looking for a CD with Jenny Lou Carson? Goldie Hill? Molly O'Day? Rosalie Allen? How about certified country queens Kitty Wells, Jean Shepard, and June Carter singing rare songs. If that's not enough how about Patsy Cline singing a track PREVIOUSLY NOT KNOWN TO HAVE EXISTED? Well, folks this is what you have been looking for!! Here are 23 performances from everyone from the legendary Minnie Pearl to the quite obscure Judy Perkins, Ann Jones, and Penny Nichols. These recordings were apparently recorded for radio broadcasts on particular programs but no information alas about where they came from is noted. Highlights include Rosalie Allen doing a superb cover of "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels", Goldie Hill singing the pop hit "Make Love to Me", and Patsy Montana singing a comic novelty "Mama Never Said a Word About Love". And yeah, and Patsy Cline singing a fine, previously unheard number called "When A House is Not a Home". This is a CD that NO lover of country music history should be without."

"A terrific comp of REAL female country singers. It's a shame we have to buy imports of our own artists to get the good stuff. Worth the price for the song Twice The Lovin' In Half The Time alone."
