"I am suprised that there is no info on this cd listed here.This was one of Mercury records efforts at putting some older music back in circulation. For the most part they failed. Most of the cds went out of print quickly (like this one). The sets featured short running times, remakes, and short essays. Kind of like it wasn't a budget set, but not even close to a definate collection.Drusky has a smooth, warm, but limited baritone. Kind of like a cross between Eddy Arnold in his later days and Jim Ed Brown.The songs are: Such a Fool; Another; Peel Me a Nanner; Yes Mr. Peters; Husbands and Wives; Tip of My Fingers; If the Whole World Stopped Lovin'; Make the World Go Away; All My Hard Times; Jody and the Kid; Strangers; Long Long Texas Road; She Thinks I Still Care.The version of "Another" is a remake. And I don't think that including "Make The World Go Away" and other covers was wise since they left off other well known songs.This is still worth getting, because I don't ever see another Roy Drusky collection coming out."

"The first (and only) review I see was "helpful". I wouldn't buy a Roy Drusky album without "Three Hearts in a Tangle" (his best) on it. Roy Drusky died this year having put out a number of albums, few of which are shown in this venue. He was the kind of singer you might expect to hear/see on the Grand Ole Opry for his entire career but going nowhere else. He did produce some other singers' albums along the way and might have been a bigger star with some better material. He made "I Can't Tell My Heart That" with country legend Kitty Wells and recorded also with Priscilla Mitchell who I think is largely forgotten. You might want to give "Anymore with Roy Drusky" (or something to that effect) a try. At least it has "Three Hearts in a Tangle" from 1961.And there are Greatest HIts albums by this man, just not in this venue. YOU decide if they're great."
