CD Reviews
A good budget compilation

"Roy Orbison had so many great songs that it would be impossible to fit them all on a ten-track set like this, but most of the famous songs are here. I was actually surprised to find that Only the lonely, In dreams, It's over, Crying, Blue bayou and Oh pretty woman are all included - they are (arguably) his six best songs, though not in that order. The other four songs are also of a high quality though not as strong as some of his other hits that have been left out, among them Dream baby, Candy man and the Christmas song, Pretty paper. This is better than I expected it to be, but if you can afford a full-length CD, go for one of those instead."
Affordable, but Not Complete

"Some big hits are here, but many are absent. Recommended only for music lovers who need a few Orbison songs at an affordable price. All original versions without liner notes."
I loved all of the songs, that's pretty unusual

"I loved this recording and was able to play it through without having to FF through any songs."
The super hits of Roy Orbison!

"Roy Orbison is one of these artiists to have his hit songs taken, as released as super hits, but the bad news each package only has 10 songs on them. And a few of his hits like Candy Man, Sweet Dreams Baby, and Uptown are missing from this cd, and are replaced by Blue Angel, I'm Hurting, and Working for the man, which are really any of these songs really was hits. The songs that are on this cd are
1. Only the Lonely
2. In Dreams
3. It's Over
4. Crying
5. Blue Angel
6. Working for the Man
7. Running Scared
8. I'm Hurtin'
9. Blue Bayou
10. Oh Pretty Woman
I guess a Roy Orbison hit cd, isn't a hit cd with out Only the Lonely and Oh Pretty Woman. These are also the songs that he recored at Moment Records, but how about some of his other hits that was recored there, like Oobby Dooby, and Go, Go, Go, Down the Line. So if you are lookng for a Roy Orbison cd that is about a 30 minutes long, I would say get this, cause I can't think of too many that are this short, mostly others are at least 1 hour long, so please enjoy the super hits of Roy Orbison!
