His down-home voice, well-crafted songs on Americana themes and tasteful arrangements make this CD a gem for your collection. Whether you're needing a pick-me-up (I listen lots while driving long distances) or just a comfy visit with an old musical friend, Walls That Talk is going to fill the bill. Roy sings lead and harmony and plays many of the instruments himself, and seems to have a knack for finding the perfect back-up musicians when needed.
