"I can't even look at the cover of this record without an irrepressible smile crossing my face. the RCMob shows of the early 90's in cincinnati were the stuff of legend. for 2 hours, the collective booty of 1500 or so sweat drenched Mobsters was theirs to shake. I would be seriously hard pressed to recall a show where the crowd was whipped into such a dervical frenzy. there really would have been no way to transfer their undeniable live energy on to wax, but this album comes darn close. there really are no bad songs on here...from the name dropping rock-rap (not so common in '89) of Big Show to the radio hit near misses of 5 More Minutes and Nanana.
what should've been the calling card for a band on the rise, though, turned out to be their last great album before the major label grungaton that destroyed many a band in its wake. while it doesn't possess the overt funkiness of their earlier work (except for the blistering Silver Street), it is one of the catchiest and most fun long lost gems of the era and still holds its own today."
