The great lost classic of 90s rock

It's such a shame this stupendous record isn't more widely known. Despite (or maybe because of) the glorious scuzz of the sound, it's a true classic of honest, earthy, dirty-fingernails songwriting (just listen to the unbelievably laid-bare lyrics to "Map of the City" -- take THAT, Robert Lowell!).
Twin vocals, twin guitars and twin drums (is there a second bass on it, too?), it has the sound of a string quartet on crystal meth -- with smart percussion added as a cherry on top.
Buy it any way you can, and give your ears a much-needed cleaning: musical Drano mixed with enough essential vitamins to bring King Tut back to life, with a big smile on his skull.

"This is the grimiest and slimiest blues rock band you will ever hear. You can hear their influence on so many modern day garage bands out there right now. They still did it the best of course. When people compare this band to the Stones it is completely fair, but don't think they are some kind of rip off band. They do everything in their Royal Trux style and this stuff really rocks. Really great music and I highly recommend it."

"My sister bought this album (disc) for me for my birthday. I put it on a few times and forgot about it. A year later I tried it again and was amazed at how much material i found myself humming along to (Ray-O-Vac immediately springs to mind).
Every song is so great on this album, but my personal favorite is 'Map of the City' and '(have you met) horror james'.
I find it amazing how each RT album sounds completely different and has an identity its own. THANK YOU is one of those albums i put on and find myself singing throughout its entirety. Great sleazy rock. I won't make the Rolling Stones comparison, but by just mentioning that i won't actually brings it to light, right?
GET THIS ALBUM and then get ACCELERATOR and VETERANS OF DISORDER. awesome stuff"
