CD Reviews

Rozalla Comes Back With Style
09/21/1998
(4 out of 5 stars)

"She was the girl who brought you top dance tracks such as "Are You Ready To Fly" and "I Love Music". Now this Zambian singer is back with a very good cover version of the Hugh Masekela dance classic. Rozalla's high, soulful voice goes great with this pleasant, feel good track which will immediately make you want to hit the dance floor. The Metro remixes are the best but all individual mixes are good enough. A very powerful track indeed for that lovely singer."

"Nice price. Lots of people are gonna be buying this one.I have the original album -- great stuff, still fresh after almost a decade. Also checkout Sunscreem."
A lovely voice and great remixing make for a quality single.

"My personal favorite mix is the club-length Samba mix, where a riff from Black Box's enduring anthem "Strike It Up" and some Latin whistles and snare drums spice up the song. The song, which is short on lyrics, doesn't go far enough in showcasing Rozalla's superb vocal abilities, but we fans are just so happy to hear anything new from her."
