"The best word for this CD is tasteful. Great melodies, rhythms and arrangements topped by Ruben's immediately recognizable voice. And you can dance to it! This music bears up to repeated listening like the best jazz. Buy it!"

"I am probably one of Ruben Blades biggest fans son you may find my review biassed. However, for the "True Salsero" who looks for rythm, musical excellence, creativity and great lyrics, this CD will give you a taste of "The Prophet of Salsa". Also, many of his songs paint the cruel reality of Latin America's poor class, a far cry from the beautiful pictures of white-sand beaches and rain forests the world sees in Ads. Get it!"
