Absolutely great stuff.

"This is absolutely great stuff! Nobody played French music like Rubinstein. Along with all the delicacy, finesse and color you could want, he added a welcome degree of muscle not always found among the French pianists. Rubinstein knew most of these composers personally, and he inhabited and participated in their world, the Paris of the early twentieth century, with the greatest gusto and appreciation. All of this comes through in his performance. The wonderful, unique Debussy performances are mono, the rest stereo. Not to be missed."
