Really? Another Retread? Rush has Plenty of Compilations A

"I already have tix to see the TSS tour this summer, huge Rush fan for decades. But like the recent Rush "Working Men" DVD, it appears the corporate machine is out to milk fans for everything we're worth by repeating material over and over again, and again. Enough with the audio and video retreads of repeated material. There's nothing on this CD that isn't in my collection already two or three times already. I don't appreciate the need or the greed, so it gets a 1 star, because frankly it has no value to me as a fan."
It's Warner, not Rush

"Rush doesn't put these compilations out, Warner Brothers does. Rush doesn't have anything to do with them. If you people would stop buying them, they would stop putting them out. Wait for the next studio release.
That being said, if you are a new rush fan, then this sounds like a pretty good mix of songs."
Nice compilation - Repeat releases

"I'm as much a big Rush fan as the next big Rush fan. I look at the contents of this CD, and see great songs of years past. I've heard some of these songs for decades - literally. Every year they are the same good songs. But then, this is problem - they are the same songs. There are but a few Rush releases I have not purchased, simply because I have already bought those songs 4 or 5 times each, either in studio compilation or in a live release. I'll buy every official live Rush release I can get my money on. But this compilation, although good for a first-time Rush fan, is only the same songs released once more to the long-time die-hard. How many times does one have to pay for Tom Sawyer, or Closer To the Heart? Don't get me wrong, I love both songs, and much more. But, most of us already have these, again and yet again. If they were to release a rare goodie, such as another previously-released live track, then I'd grab it faster than one can say "cha-ching!""
Another Rush Best Of collection is Okay

"I love RUSH and have all of their albums. However RUSH has really been putting out a ton of compelation albums. If you own all their studio albums, then you have all of the songs that this album provides. A great collection for someone wanting a good sample of RUSH's diffrent songs and music over the years. For the die hard fan, it is another "Best Of" album with cool artwork on the cover."
