CD Reviews

A must for the Miami Vice fan.

"I got this cd when I learned it had the song "Voices" on it. This incredible song was used most effectively in a very early episode of Miami Vice. An episode about the end of the notorious Calderone. It is a haunting song. One you can definitely drive and get pumped up to. It is hard to find good music like this anymore. As for the rest of the album, I considered it a nice bonus of well crafted songs."
Pure rock album

"This was the one of the very few albums i listened to & loved every track. Here there is alot of pulsating rhythms & vigorous sounds from "In the night" & the fantastic "Woman like you" to the ecstatic "Two Silhouettes" finaly to the classic "Voices", with this album it does not get bad but better.

Russ Ballard is a rock icon that didnt get due recognition, he even wrote a song which Ritchie Blackmore,in his heyday, recorded & released it in Rainbow's 1981 classic album "Difficult to cure", it was titled "I surrender".

If anyone is interested in 80's rock, they will definitely enjoy this album, after 20 years since i fisrt heard it, the songs are still as invigorating as ever."
