Volcanic Records is the brainchild of Russell and Stephanie Thomas. Established in June of 2001, Volcanic Records is and Independent Label focusing on new talent in the area of Adult Contemporary music. Russell who currently works in marketing for a major credit card firm will utilize his expertise in using grass roots innovative promotional techniques to market the company's first product piece, a CD Single entitled How I feel. A shoe string start-up, Russell has produced this project using his music production skills thus overcoming the customary costs associated with releasing such products. Realizing the necessity for global presence Volcanic Records will use the services of Amazon.com as its main distribution hub. Also in the mean time, Russell with the aid of legal council who has existing relations with major labels will attempt to tap into the Independent distribution services offered by existing major labels. Existing marketing and promotions firms in the local Delaware and Pennsylvania area will be utilized to ensure market awareness, penetration and sales. Though there are currently no other investors, Volcanic Records welcomes prospects who are interested in its future endeavor. Russell Vision for Volcanic Records is to form a music group of existing established independent labels with ready for market product in the Delaware area, covering the genre's of Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel and Jazz.
