Sensual, sexual renderings (as you would expect) on songs like "Help A Good Girl Go Bad" and "Hurry On Down To My House, Baby".......but only this diva could turn "On The Good Ship Lollipop" into an erotic listening experience that makes you blush! Ruth Brown is in extraordinary voice throughout this wondrous collection so any fan of a tremendous singer in a gorgeous & magical setting will have to have this rare musical gem...Bravo to Peter Matz and Ruth Brown who we will never see the likes of again!"

"I hunted down this CD because Johnny Carson said in his last show that "Here's That Rainy Day" was one of his favorite songs. He sang a duet with Bette Midler on that last show. Not only is this song wonderful (Ruth Brown's version), but the whole CD is a joy. It is a relaxing, fun, and memory-provoking journey to listen to it!! I wish I had known about Ruth long ago. Thanks, Johnny!"
