"Ryland Angel transcends all categories. These are one-of-a-kind songs wrapped around a voice that simmers, smokes and sets fire. Imagine a voice the the power of Freddy Mercury, the soul of George Michael and spirit of Brian Wilson. A dreamy quality resonates throughout. I would give this record to my daughter, my mother and my grandmother...
it's timeless, stylish and quietly british. A remarkable sense of genius lurks inside these original songs of loss, forgiveness and love. Ryland Angel's debut gets my vote as the best album of the year so far...
God Bless."

"Ryland Angel Has A Terrific, Heaven Sent Voice That Brings The Songs He Sings To Life!! But His Voice Is Only A Part Of His Talent, He Is Also A Wonderful Songwriter. His "Absalom", "Broken Heart", "Your Kiss" & "By The Light" Are Simply Stunning!! His Versions Of "The Water Is Wide" & "Ave Maria" Are Beautiful. Be Sure To Check Out The "HEAVENLY VOICES" Dvd With Ryland, Giorgia Fumanti And Sasha & Shawna"

"I had received this as a gift so I'm thankful I didn't pay any money for it as its just plain awful. There are times when I listen to a CD for the first time and I'll be initially disappointed but then after giving it another chance, most of the time I learn to like it. Not this one. I even gave it 3 or 4 chances. I gave it to 2 friends to see if they liked it, they said it was terrible and threw it in the trash. And these people know their music. If you have to buy it, get one of the used and new selections, because if you buy it new, you'll be wasting about $25.00.
Its really bad, trust me."
Pretty but few charms

"Mr. Angel is clearly lifting his voice to the Lord, and I respect that, but his songwriting is kind of weak. He has a lovely voice, and he uses it well, but the material leaves a great deal to be desired. The final song, a duet with a gorgeous soprano, is the reason I bought this album and I still can't get enough of it, but the rest of the album is quite bland."
