From the awesome riffs, melodic hooks, driving rhythms, amazing guitar solo's and superb vocals this band and this CD delivers! I have yet to stop listening to the CD and not since Savatage "Edge Of Thorns" have I been this excited about a band! Lothar Keller is a musical genius as well as one of the brightest guitarist's heard in a long time, not to mention that his vocal range is impeccable! The thunderous rhythm section of Joey Vega and Brad "Sabbath" will just blow you away! Add to that Johnny V.'s explosive guitar playing and you have a combination rarely found in todays music scene! "GEARS OF THE MACHINE" is awesome from start to finish! One listen to tracks like "I'm The One", "Soldier's Plea", "Walls Of Jericho" (which I believe that wrestler Chris Jericho should pick up as his entrance theme), and the incredible cover of Charlie Daniels Band "Devil Went Down To Georgia" will prove to anyone that SACRED DAWN is a force to be reckoned with! This CD has it all and, in my opinion, it should be deemed Progressive Rock/Metal CD of all time and a blueprint for other bands striving for greatness to take note of! If I could sum up "GEARS OF THE MACHINE" with one word, that word would be "Masterpiece"! I urge everyone to buy this CD and take a listen to greatness! SACRED DAWN ROCKS!!!!!"
