Another great deal from Naive

"I paid Amazon $14.97 for this set but even at the list price of $17.98 this is a bargain. Included in the box are four CDs in regular jewel cases, each with its own booklet. Each CD is available separately from Amazon under the titles: Bach Cantatas conducted by Coin, Von Bingen Hortus Deliciarum, Mozart Mass in C Minor conducted by Krivine, and Vivaldi Gloria & Magnificat conducted by Alessandrini.

The Bach Cantatas and Mozart Mass in C Minor CDs receive 5 star reviews at Amazon from Top 50 Reviewer J Scott Morrison (whose thoughtful reviews of classical CDs have been most helpful to me). Alessandrini's reading of Vivaldi's Gloria and Magnificat is listed as an Amazon Essential Recording and receives a positive review from Amazon reviewer Matthew Westphal. Goldberg magazine gives Hortus Delicarium their top rating of 5 stars.

To buy the CDs in this set separately would cost over $40. Like Naive's box set listed on Amazon as Vivaldi: Instrumental Music, the Sacred Music box set is a great deal that provides hours of beautifully composed and performed music. Highly recommended."
