Mercy is the first full-length album from Canadian indie band Saint John and the Revelations. Written and recorded in Venice, California, Mercy is a musical journey through some very dark emotional territory including failed relationships, death, war, and despair. The performances on the album are very intimate, focused mostly on Saint John's vocals and acoustic guitar. Other instruments, including cello, piano, drums, violin, and organ are implemented tastefully throughout the album to add texture and help carry the emotions of the songs.
