CD Reviews

This cd for some reason, seemed to miss it's mark

"After a lot of meditation, I have come to the conclusion that this cd is not for me. It seems to have missed it's mark. Please allow me to try to explain. On this cd Sally tried to perform way too many weak songs. What I mean by weak is this! The melody lines of these songs were terrible. Have you noticed how most of the new songs being written today have such weak melodys? Well that's what happens when you try to jump onto the band wagon of comtempory songs.Out of all the songs featured on this cd, I could only identify with only three of these songs. I just wish Sally would record some songs that I truly could enjoy. Examples of the kind of songs i would enjoy listening to would be: "Stardust", "I'm Confessin' That I Love You", "Seems Like Old Times", etc. Also on this project, Sally added a bass to her piano accompaniment. I think the results were a diaster. Sally is too good a pianist to have to share the limelight with another performer.I Can Not Recommend This Cd"
My favorite all time CD.

"I love this CD! If I am sad it makes me feel better. If I'm in love, it makes me love more. It speaks to my soul. The music is beautiful. Sally Harmon's arrangements are nicer to listen to than any others I have ever heard. I cannot imagine someone thinking it missed its mark. But that goes to prove we are all different. I like almost all of Sally Harmon's CD's. I own everyone. However, "Romancing the Movies" and "Brava" are my two favorite."
