"IF YOUR HERE BECAUSE YOUR A MIKE OLDFELD FAN, OR LIKE MUSIC LIKE 'TUBULAR BELLS', KEEP LOOKING..I BOUGHT THIS ON A RECOMMENDATION FROM A PENTANGLE PURCHASE...NOT EVEN CLOSE. SOME OF THE SONGS ARE WELL CONCEIVED, BUT I FIND SALLY'S VOICE SHRILL AND CONTRIVED..SHE SOUNDS, AND LOOKS, TRAUMATIZED//...MIKE IS PLAYING GUITAR AND IS OBVIOUSLY QUITE YOUNG. HE GETS AN E FOR EFFORT, BUT THIS MATERIAL IS BELOW HIS WATERMARK..FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ONLY... BRITMAN.."

"The music is excellent, if you enjoy folky dreamy music from the 60's, but the sound quality is appalling in places - sounds like the original tape has disintegrated in parts."

"Unlike the first reviewer who found the sound quality bad enough to rate this one star. I find the music of The Sallyangie to be worth any very minor recording limitations. Unless you are an audiophile, this should not keep you from enjoying some of the most enchanting british folk pop of the 1960s."
