CD ReviewsNina Ramsby Rules! Billy Duke | Los Angeles, CA | 07/09/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "I saw this alternative metal trio play live in NYC in 1996, when Auscultate was first released, and as awesome as they were, both live and on tape, they turned out to be yet another example of a great, unique-sounding band that fell through the cracks in the commercial music landscape. Their sound is straight-ahead guitar rock on the surface, but yields a number of quirky chords changes, propelled by songwriter/vocalist Nina Ramsby's continuously curious lyrics and intriguing melodies. More tuneful than the Melvins and less abrasive than Jawbox, Salt was a female-fronted breath of fresh air in the 90's alterna-scape. After Salt folded, Nina went on to perform in the drum&bass/trip-hop combo Baxter, whose sole album is also well worth checking out." Salt Billy Duke | 08/04/1999 (5 out of 5 stars) "Salt !!! Salt n'est pas seulement un groupe de rock energique de plus ! C'est le seul groupe de "rock" qui allie violence, sensibilité, compositions hors des sentiers batus, une baffe au soi-disant groupes punks (voire RAP à la con). si vous aimez le talent, ecoutez SALT" What Happen To Salt? The Greast Band Ever!!!! Corkey Hinkle | Warner Robins, GA USA | 09/19/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm in love with this band. I remember hearing Bluster on the radio in 1996 and think "This is the best song I ever heard!" There other albums are very hard to find and sense the band brokeup, it's been hard to find anything earilier of theirs. Nina Ramby does have a solo album out. If some one know of any more Salt albums, please make a note on the comments. Salt Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!"
