"Every time I listen to this and other pre Van Halen Sammy Hagar music, I'm sure of one thing, he doesn't get the credit he derserves as an act in his own right, also check out Sammy with the Montrose, very cool stuff. There are some great songs on this cd, Plain Jane and Love or Money are my favs."

"I found this cassette in a bargain bin back in 1987 or 1988. I didn't know at the time it was a compilation, I just wanted to hear some pre-Halen, post-Montrose Sammy. . .

Since then, I have heard much of his earlier albums in full, and I have to admit that Capitol Records did a pretty good job cherry-pickin' Sammy's most rockin' tracks for this compilation. Good stuff!"
