"Being one who loves live offerings, I didn't hesitate to purchase this CD, sound unheard as it were. Recorded live at Red Rocks Ampitheatre, the set opens with "When It's Raining" (the stage patter indicates it was...) it flows effortlessly through old and new songs, including "Falling in Love" and a rousing live debut of "Seventeen"! From there the set grows tighter and bolder with each successive tune. After an incredible version of "My Town" (my personal favorite on this CD and on Underwater People too)the set closes out with "Did You Ever Look So Nice" with Sean dropping the "F bomb" loud and clear as he has on other live offerings, and adlibbing again at the end as he is prone to do. The CD closes out with a lengthy "Feel Us Shakin'". The sound quality is great, the solos superb and the band seems to be running in high gear for the hometown crowd at Red Rocks. If you are already a Samples fan, this is a must have for the collection. If you have only recently discovered them you might want to fill in with Transmissions From The Sea of Tranquility, and Seventeen before being able to appreciate this one fully, but eventually you will want to have this one too!! Another great live effort!!!"
One of the best Samples albums out- by far

"First of all, I am a HUGE Samples fan. I was in Colorado from 93-98 when the Samples were blowing up there. They were huge at CSU and CU, I have seen them live many times, and I am still a huge fan today. This album represents the Samples at their best. Band members have come and gone over the years... this really represents them at their peak, with the strong baselines and reggae feel that they have been known for. If you liked The Samples, No Room, Autopilot, and The Last Drag, you HAVE to have this album. I listened to it over and over for about 6 months, and I still love it. Recorded at Red Rocks and in Boulder it really reminds me of their shows back in the day. The sound quality is also great which isn't often the case on live albums. For any Samples fan or even someone who just wants to check them out, this album is great. I would give it 6 stars if I could... highly recommended."

"Decent live performance, highlights are "My Town", "Streets in the Rain" and "Feel Us Shaking" but overall not nearly as good as Transmissions From The Sea of Tranquility which is the best live CD they have put out."
