"This cd is just all around awesome, great sound and a great message. The song lyrics are deep and the music rocks, not to hard (no screaming or anything....). I have a friend who has spent some time with the guys and he says they are all solid christians who practice what they preach. Easily the best album i have ever bought. i encourage anyone to buy this cd, no matter what age, and i am looking forward to their new cd "fight the tide" coming out one june 15 2004. anybody who would give this album one star obviously has no taste in music."
It's all good, it always has been, it always will be!

"Ok, folks, I've been following these guys since they were in high school. I got my first cd ever, which happens to be their first demo cd, when I was in 7th grade back in 1997 (I think). Trust me on this. I have all 6 of their cd's, plus a copy of the first tape they made. These guys have always been great, and eventhough I'm always afriad they've topped and won't be able to match the last CD, they smoke me out of the water. Buy the CD. It's a no lose situation. Trust me, seriously. If you haven't heard their stuff, I'll tell you what i've been telling people for years: "don't worry if yo haven't heard of them. You will". These guys are going WORLDWIDE. Ok, EVERY review I've seen has raved about them. They sold more debut copies in the first two weeks than ANY other sparrow rock artist EVER. so like relient K, switchfoot, those sound familiar? Yeah, more copies right here. And if you aren't sure, go see them in concert. They will rock your face off in the best possible way. And if you catch a full-length show, they usually do some worship stuff, and if you wanna talk about AWESOME worship, the buck stops here. BUY IT! I've known these guys forever, they don't disappoint. And the hidden track (*gasp*) is awesome, especially if you know any old school christian music! Peace!"
Good....but It's not to the top yet.

"This CD is a result of the years and years Sanctus Real has put in as a band. They've been together a really long time (somewhere around ten years, if I remember correctly), and this is their first label debut. And it is an awesome debut. Almost every song on this cd is radio-worthy, but don't think it's your cookie-cutter, sell-out, Puddle of Mudd radio crap. This is upbeat, blazing, rock with no punk leanings, no emo leanings, no modern rock leanings, no nothing: just rawk. And guess what? It just rawks. The title track is amazing, and so is "Captain's Chair," which has a bridge that is to die for. You will be singing it. In your sleep. If you like Switchfoot, Jane's Addiction (minus the squealing guitar solos and a with a more likable voice), the Beatles, or any rock band who spells rock "rawk," then you will like this. The only downside is that a few of the tracks were missing tweaks that would have made them irresistible. That's just production error, though. Fantastic debut."
Who can't like this?

"Simply put these guys are awesome. They combine pounding drums with loud bass and blaring guitars. The guitars are crunchy and played really well by Chris Rahman. Matt Hammitt's vocals are passionate and perfect for the type of music that surrounds him. "Say it loud" and "Audience of One" really portray their guitar skills. Mark, and Steve make up a wonderful rhythm section that is not to be underestimated. These guys are going to be a force to be reckoned with. If you like honest lyrics with blasting music, and passionate vocals then you will love these guys. These guys need to be shared around the world to be enjoyed. I will get to see them this spring at Ichthus, and I can't wait. They'll be fun to see live. Anyway this cd is a wonderful debut, and try picking it up sometime. You'll be glad that you did. God bless."
Finally, contemporary music with a punk/alternative sound

"Hands down this has to be one of the best albums that I've bought this year. It's a great alternative/contemporary album. Finally, something that I can relate to, praising God with a good sound, instead of a folk/country-like approach. If your someone who is into the softer contemporary music, then this album is more than likely not for you, but just maybe it is. Looking at them you don't see the typical image of the bands who have similar sounds. They are genuinely a great band. 5 stars, all the songs are great & easy to understand. Guitars sounded great on Say It Loud period. Great bass & drums as well, but the vocals were outstanding. Give this band a chance & listen to a few of the tracks, I guarantee that you'll be impressed."
