"i am a big fan of any music produced by chips moman and recorded at Memphis' american sound studios. sandy posey was a receptionist there who was used on demos and background singing later to develop her own records as well. the band, miss posey and the hits are great but i bought this particular cd because of a song i heard on a little known lp i found for 88 cents in a cutout rack in 1973. the song is entitled " DEEP IN KENTUCKY" and the arrangement and reggie youngs beautiful acoustic guitar accompaniment sound superb on record and even better on cd. other great songs not well known by her are "IT'S NOT EASY", and her version of "IT'S ALL IN THE GAME". believe me the import is better than the greatest hits packages. the packaging is weak but the music contents are fabulous!"

"I had her album in the 60's and had been looking for it, when I found this site. I liked them so much I bought all of the ones I could find. They take you back to a time that was innocent so they say.I loved every song on it I think it is worth every dime I paid for them.It is a MUST have collection of the female vocalist of the 60's."

"This CD is not a bluegrass recording. "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and "The Marine Hymn" with a background of some picking, ect does not make a bluegrass recording. Shame on someone."
Sandy - a brightly shining, but under-rated, star

"This is just a brilliant collection of songs that are so infectious that you'll be singing along to them very soon. She has a vulnerable singing voice, which sounds just perfect for these songs. Each one is a gem, but I particularly like "I Take It Back", "Satin Pillows" and "Sunglasses", as well as the title track. However, it is a collection which does not have a track which is anything less than wonderful. The recordings seem so simply put together, with an unfussy production, lovely backing singing and gently played music. She is, I think, a star - but sadly under-rated."
