"I have been listening to Indian classical music for quite some time now and this certainly is among the very best instrumental performances I have heard. The Raag, Rageshri, is pleasant on the Santoor. Unlike usual Indian classical performances, where spontaneity often overrides coordination, here the Tabla is perfectly in sync with the Santoor. In fact, it is a pleasant surprise to see the strings and the percussion exchange roles in several pieces during the performance. The best part of the CD is the climax (drut). The pace for the last 20 minutes is just stunning. A liking for Indian classical music will help enjoy the CD."
