CD ReviewsA great gutsy lady! 07/15/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "Sarah Brown's album "Sayin' What I'm Thinkin'" is a great look at every woman's life through the blues. She writes her lyrics about situations that the listeners could, and perhaps have, truly felt. "Not As Sorry As I Used To Be" is just one example of the woman's strength in the face of heartache and frustration. "Bad Boy's Pride" will have listeners shaking their heads at the humor of the all too familiar situation. But in my opinion, the true gem of the album is "Devil's Best Disguise", also features of Shanachie's "Every Woman's Blues." This song is love, passion, sex, and the blues, sung and played at its best. Brown's guitar will wind itself around your ears and whisper in them to hold you to her song. And believe it or not, that isn't an exaggeration. Brown is highly recommended for women and blues lovers alike."
