" -- Neumu This music was originally composed for a production of Orestes by the Classical Greek Theater of Oregon in Summer 2006, and the result is a series of songs that meld indie rock with choral narration. The music was composed and recorded by Sarah Dougher, ably assisted by Josh Hodges (Starfucker) as production technician and multi-instrumentalist. It has since been used in the second season of the HBO series This American Life. The CD contains both instrumental tracks and tracks with lyrics, sung by Sarah Dougher and Pat Janowski, one of the original members of the chorus. This is Dougher's first work for the theater.
