Why Isn't This Singer Famous?

"I heard "I Never Meant to Fall" on KBCS in the Seattle area, and was absolutely stunned. I was on the way to the doctor with horrible stomach flu, but just had to call the DJ to hear who sung that amazing, slow, sad song so many of us have lived. Ever been dumped, ripped up, then realized it was for the best? Yeah, you do, and this is the best song about that feeling I've ever heard.

It's a slow folksy/country-ish number with an almost Hawaiian sounding slide guitar, sung with a raspy, experienced voice. Needless to say, I ordered it immediately.

And confidential to Norah Jones or any other aspiring chanteuse: if you're looking for an obscure song to cover, look no further."
