"I heard this group interviewed on the radio and caught just a little of their music. When I purchased the CD I listened to it 8 times in my car and have not been able to stop listening in the last 2 days. I have owned it only 3 days and absolutely love it. It has far exceeded my expectations. I have not done this type of listening in 15 years. The production, writing, music, and lyrics are top rate. Inspirational music that rocks. These guys combine hard rock with melodic acousitcs and a small mix of hip-hop/rap. A unique combination that you can only enjoy. Kudos to Scarecrow and Tinmen. I could not recommned a CD more. When you purchase this CD (not if), ensure you crank up the volume."

"If you liked Scarecrow and Tinmen in concert, you'll love this CD. There are more songs like what they do in concert than No Place Like Home. My favorites are God is Good, Big Mouth (or The Big M), and Superhero. Of course, the rest of the CD is great, too. It all shares a good message with cool music. God has really blessed them with talent and us with great music."
This is my kind of music

"These guys have got so much talent. I saw themonce in concert, and they had the most energetic and entertaining live show I've ever seen. This CD is awesome, and in many ways closer to their older sound before signing with Pamplin. Great songs include "Superhero", "The Big M" (which is great live), "This Much", and older songs they re-did...."Groovy" and "Bionic Son". I recommend this CD to everyone. Their music is awsome. God bless their ministry!"
Fun and Funky

"My whole family, from age 5 to 50, loves to listen to this album! "Jesus is God" is really in your face both musically and lyrically. It's probably my favorite song on the album. Another strong cut is "God is Good". This album isn't going to set the world on fire, but with it's funky music and funky lyrical imagery, it's a lot of fun to listen to."
Sound candy.

"I'm not sure how to classify these guys: Techno-rap? Alternative-Groove? Technocore? Whatever . . . They're great, anyways. The songs sound good, albeit a little repetitive at times. (I'm thinking here of "The Reason Y".) The production is first rate, while the lyrics are some of the most explicitly Christian on any of my CD's. I mean, not even Bride has a song entitled, "Jesus Is God"! The music, like "God Is Good" and "Bionic Son" really rocks and pounds. The lyrical imagery is intriguing, too: "Batman and Robin, what a duo/y'know, but my God and me can defeat the enemy." COOL! Interestingly, two of the singers from S&T became Catholics a year or so ago which makes them even more intriguing, since 99.9% of CCM is born again, Pentecostal, non-denom, etc. This is a really good CD. My only complaint would be that S&C need to find a definitve sound; they can't sound like they're throwing in everything but the kitchen sink -- that's DC Talk's job!"
