My Favorite Pierrot Lunaire

"Wicked smiles, lascivious winks, histrionic fear, sardonic humor...Pierrot Lunaire!
This is the recording to get, whether you are an initiate or veterna of Schoenberg's music. This cd brings out every nuance, and the recording quality is just intimate enough, without sacrificing the alternatingly spacious moments of the composition.
Buy this rendition before any other."
HERZGEWACHSE & the FOUR ORCHESTRAL SONGS...

".
Although this disc has the "Pierrot curse"--(i.e., nearly every Schoenberg disc seems to include either Pierrot Lunaire, Verklarte Nacht, or the First Chamber Symphony)--it features two of Schoenberg's most exquisite works: Herzgewachse Op. 20, and the Four Orchestral Songs Op. 22, both of which are very rare--(that is, difficult to find on CD). For that reason, this disc is definitely worth having.

"oh man like this music is so bad, i mean real music is supposed to have harmonies and scales and stuff like my music teacher said, but this is like stuff some kid would right and its just so bland and boring
the funny thing is my music teacher was the one who taght me that about scales stuff, but shes the one who played this to the class and and acted like it was all great and stuff. but its not, and the whole class was staring at her like she was crazy sio she got angry with us and turned it off. later when she said that led zepplin isn't the greatest composer of all time i got mad at her and called her a hag idiot, so she yelled at me and threw me out of the class LOL
anyway if u like this u are dumb"
