"This scientist album is the most wicked to date. Complex interwoven sounds intermixed with dark lyrics. This album is not as "polished" as the greensleeves releases but this works to its advantage and establishes a scratchy, earthy undertone to the production. Check out track #6, dark destroyer dub- perhaps the single best dub track ever recorded- only tracks 4 and 5 on King Tubby's Shining Dub come close."

"I have many dub discs, but none come before Scientific Dub. This collection should act as the template for anyone interested in the crafting of dub magic. Though many of Scinetists discs' simply smoke, this disc should begin and end any conversation about which one is hottest. Do yourself a great big favor, get this."
