"This is a 2004 single from Scissor Sisters, whose fantastic debut album is approaching 8x platinum. This is a special song about a young man who takes his mother out to a club and comes out to her. What a beautiful story. I think it's really important to preach the importance of diversity. I doubt Pink Floyd or Supertramp could even muster the imagination to write such a masterpiece. Anyway, five stars for this single. It's just wonderful!"

"this is the single to own for any Scissor Sister fan . It has the album version of "Take your mama" ,and also two Unreleased bonus tracks . "Get it ,get it" was on the UK version of the self titled debut ,and it has this new wave feel to it like classic "80's" pop .The other "Backwoods discoteque pt.2" has this kinda disco/country club feel to it that will keep you humming it all night . Don't forget that this version also has the music video to the title track ."
