Its taken many years to put this CD together. I always resisted doing one because I know Im not a great singer. But with that being said, I came to realize, when I perform at different functions that the people didnt really care they just want to hear the writer sing their songs. So with a lot of encouragement from different people I decided to put together a Scrapbook of hits that Ive been blessed with over the years.
Id like to first and foremost thank the Lord for all the gifts hes given me. Id like to thank my wife Belinda and my Sons Josh and Nick, because they sacrificed the most. Over the period of years it took for these songs to be written and come out, I was on the road for most of them playing guitar for Eddy Raven, Marie Osmond and being a part of the duo Baker and Myers and I missed a lot of things. I want to thank them for their love and support and for understanding why I was gone all the time. Id like to thank Eddy Raven for taking a young man under his wing and giving him the opportunity to succeed and teaching him the craft of songwriting. Id like to thank the artists. John Michael Montgomery, All 4 One, Eddy Raven, Eddie Rabbitt, Crystal Gayle, Alabama, Lonestar, Travis Tritt, John Mellencamp and Doug Stone for believing in the songs and doing such a great job.
