"A toe tappin, knee slappin, dance jig kind of album by this Blue Ridge mountain band. Lots of ironic humor and retro musings about life and love. Should be a favorite, especially among college students who are into the less formulaic tunes on pop radio."

Their first album, At Rock Bottom, shows thet an independent release can maintain high levels of quality both in musicianship and in audio engineering. Scrappy's songs are reminiscent of a more gilded age, but maintain a very fresh sound.
