Although they were one of the best Seattle bands of the early '90s, they never achieved the commercial success of bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains. In a row. Happily. You think "Nevermind" or "Ten" were good albums? You'll love this then, especially if you have a little more Bob Mould than Soundgarden in your tastes. This is a more complex, melodic kind of album than straight-ahead rock or neo-punk, and you'll be rewarded with some really good hooks and much better lyrics to sing along to.
