"I'm surprised the comments on this CD aren't more positive. Sean P should be the richest rapper I know based on the strength of this effort. "I Love You" is hilarious."

"1st of all, all the Heltah Skeltah's fans has been waiting for this solo project from Sean Pice=Monkey Barz lp for almost 8 - 9 years now, and is finally released in 2005=) Lyrics=9 & Beats=8.5, i expect to see producers like Shawn J. Period, Baby Paul & Da Beatminerz in the album, but none of them were in there. I also expect to see more tracks on the album, but Sean didn't make the album for me, so i can't complain. I personally copped 3 copies because i know his the "BROKEST RAPPER" in the music industry, so i just wanted to support him by copping more than 1 copy, therefore, he can have money to make another solo album. Last but not least, for the people who doesn't know who is Sean Price, y'all NEED to go cop HELTAH SKELTAH=NOCTURNAL & HELTAH SKELTAH=MAGNUM FORCE straight up...B.C.C., M.F.C. 4 life...

"It's refreshing to finally hear some fresh stuff out of the duck down camp. Production was simple yet to the point reminds me of early 90's blackmoon stuff makes you want to head out and strap up your back pack again.....this that grown folk rap music type of stuff. This is a preview to what's to come outta the BCC! smif-n-wessun reload is going to be gangsta"
Solo debut is tight - 4.5 stars

"Sean Price (a.k.a. Ruck - one half of the group Heltah Skeltah) drops his solo debut, and it's a good one. I admit I'm not up to par with much of the Boot Camp Click outside a few songs by Buckshot, Heltah Skeltah, and Smif N Wessun, but I heard a lot of good things about Price, so I checked out his "Jesus Price Supastar" album and was highly impressed so I decicded to pick this one up as well. This might be slightly better than "Jesus Price Supastar" (which I'd also give 4.5 stars). With 16 songs, you get 4 that are ok, and the rest are good, a couple being real good. Guests are on a little over half the songs and are mostly his Boot Camp Click cronies. Production is decent. Agallah, Ty Deals, and Khrysis each do 2 songs, and Kleph Dollaz, MoSS, Phat Babyz Tete, 9th Wonder, PF Cuttin, Tone Mason, Dub Z, Ayatollah and Edward Maximillion each do 1 song. A nice album for fans of underground hip-hop to check out.
