"I don't exactly have this version of the CD. I have the two separate orginals (Season to Risk and In A Pefect World). I do have the bonus tracks on 7" singles and other comps.I have to say that this band is really infectious with thier sound. Their first album (Disc 1) isn't as thick and dark as the next 3 of the albums are which makes it a pretty different sound production wise. But those songs are totally s2r! You can't help but love Mine Eyes and Scorched. I have always loved Biter which is one of the first songs I owned from them on the 7 inch sing with the John Wayne Gacey version of the art work with Pogo the clown on it. Anyways ... and songs like Home just have that very cool s2r groove and the backgrounded vocals if that is such a phrase. Snakes is a great song to listen how drums and bass should work together gotta love it! From start to finish you get a wild sonic ride of straight ahead rock songs like Mine Eyes to more mellow tunes such as Home. For the 2nd album or disc for this version s2r headed in a different direction. They have an angrier feel to them which was probably due to all the experiences (good and bad) that they had on the road touring in support of the first record. It opens with Jack Frost which when I first heard it I was shocked. I couldn't believe that my beloved s2r had changed their sound to what I now love! The first one had a much clearer cleaner sound while this one is more dense and muddy, but it works! You can help but rock out to Jack Frost after you get 1/3 of the way into it you'll be like scream it to me brother Steve! One of my other favorites on this disc is Terrain Vauge goes back to some of the formulas found on the first one with more of talking vocal and ambient music its the best. If you like faster distorted bass driven rock you'll love this album its right up your alley. Check out Men Are Monkeys ... Robots Win and the newest album The Shattering which is VERY good can't stop listening to it."

"All I can say is that I saw Season To Risk opening for Corrosion of Conformity and Monster Magnet about five years ago and Season To Risk takes the honor of being the LOUDEST band I have ever seen, and I've seen Motorhead, Nirvana, Helmet etc. I know loud and them boyz is LOUD!"
