Album Description Seaworthy is a different kind of surprise. Free of any Eastern influence, the debut recordings of Josh McKay's (Macha) new project glow softly with a heroin-laced calm, anesthetizing the listener to the dark melancholy which lies just beneath the surface. As with the Macha recordings Mckay's production is vital. Guest appearances include a gorgeous collaboration (track 6) with Japanese singer Haco, a member of Osaka's legendary experimentalists After Dinner, and female trio Hoahio (John Zorn's Tzadik Records).
