"How could these girls drop off the face of the earth? The album is no longer made. They had 4 songs that were in the top 40 on the album, they were regulars on the Club MTV Dance show when it first started. One of the girls became a VJ for MTV. (Idalis) Two to make it right, Heartbeat (the extended mix with rap), Could this be love, and Breakdown all made the charts. This is a good album if you like the 90's Dance R&B like Bell Biv Devoe, C&C Music Factory, Gerardo, EnVogue, etc... Must Have..."

"When I first heard Seduction, I was in elementary school (about 10 going on eleven). I listened to (one and Only) True Love, and since that day I wanted to buy the album. I got the tape three years ago, and I've enjoyed it since (although there is no rap in One and only True Love). Seduction was April Harris, Michelle Visage (blond, but now she has black hair and is a DJ), and Idalis DeLeon (of The Invisible Man T.V. show). My favorites are also Breakdown (with Michelle Visage, breaking sterotypes), Could This Be Love, Heartbeat Remix, and Seduction's Theme. I wish that the album would be reissued with music video DVD and interviews on how the women are now."
80's girl group classic

"This album is great. Very dated but fun. These girls never really broke out of the underground club scene in the UK but were a big hit in America, much like Expose,The Cover Girls and Sweet Sensation.
Breakdown is hilarious and the spoken section in One Mistake had us in stitches "You're over with - SEE YA!!"
I love this album partly for nostalgic reasons but partly because C&C were amazing producers. Tragically David Cole (one C) is no longer with us. If you love late 80's/early 90's dance music then buy this album. You'll find house, rap,r'n'b,ballads and lots more. Who cares if they didn't sing all the songs?!!! Martha shmartha!!!"

"David Cole and Robert Clivilles started out remixing artists in the mid to late 80's. David Cole was a talented keyboard player, having been the music director for The Weather Girls, this self taught pianist was also a songwriter and together with Robert the two of them not only remixed mainstream acts, they produced and wrote songs for The Covergirls,Stacey Q, TKA and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. They also produced they're own home grown artists, Lydia Lee Love ,The Brat Pack and the Studio Group turned into Pop Crossover act Seduction being the most sucessful not counting the "Music Factory" This Cd had to have been Clivilles and Cole at they're best crossover moment. They largely skipped the cliche Feeestyle of the day in an effort to get maximum chartability. The one song produced by an outside producer is the title cut written and produced by Andy (Panda) Tripoli who prodcued The Covergirls.Nothing Matters Without Love is more pop dance than freestyle with Idalis taking the lead, The lead single was Your My One and Only(True Love) sung actually, not by the group but by Martha Wash of the Weather girls singing a very subdued vocal. Seduction was a group before this album with various girls performing the song " Seduction" which was a NYC Club hit for about a year and a half before the full length was released. Two To Make It Right is actually the first single with the girls singing on it and the second video. The "one and only" Video had April Harris lip synching to Martha Wash's voice with an extra rap recorded and only available on the Cassette single and Cd single. Two To Make it right also featured Michelle Visage on co-lead vocals. The remake of Taana Gardners Heartbeat was a good updateand 3rd video, Breakdown was a fun song with Michelle Visage rapping in a non serious way. Unfortunately her incredible ability was under appreciated on this song. She later teamed with TKA for Crash and sang on Lovely Day by Soul System from The Bodyguard soundtrack. Two Ballads on this cd are Could This be Love and Give All My Love To You well done and can fit along with any pop ballad made between 1988-1992 and the 4th video was " Could" . One Mistake was a David Cole construction that any Freestyle Girl Group would have killed to call they're own. I saw this as a b-side on an import but i think the version was instrumental.Closing the Cd is they're first hit with added vocals Seduction, very sensual and a " Quiet Storm Mix" of Could This Be love. This would make a lovely re-issue on CD. Although the album only has 9 songs, the remixes could bring the tracklisting to at least 17 maybe even more, there were house mixes of True Love ( with Martha Wash singing) remixes of Breakdown with an unreleased B-side called Groove Me,hip house remixes of Two to Make it right with Visage rapping and every single had extended versions. After this album C and C created they're own group and took Freedom Williams who wrote all the raps for Seduction and pretty much had hits as Seduction waited. Michelle Visage ended up in Soul System and due to the fact that Seduction was a C and C creation, after they're incredible debut and follow up David Cole passed away and there never was a Seduction follow up Cd. This album is a record in time and could use a remastered re-issue . The group has been doing dance clubs with April Harris fronting the group. Idalis Leon has been acting ,was an MTV VJ for a minute and last seen on season 4 of 6 Feet Under. Michelle Visage is now a radio DJ"
