"This Grammy winner remastered cd is one of the best cds done by one of latin's greatest singer Selena Quintanilla Perez. The music is espectacular , her voice is phenomenal and her love for the fans is so beatifull that by just listening to this recording you can feel her love as well.
The spoken liner notes by family and band members are so touching and beautifull giving the fans a bit of history about each song on the cd.
This cd is a must have for every Selena and Los Dinos fans outthere, and even if you are just getting to know Selena now I recommend 100% I guarantee you that it will be worth it."

"Recording your live album in your hometown (in this case, Corpus Christi) is a cheat sheet for success, and this happens to not be an exception. Selena's searing vocals are showcased on this record, as well as one over-enthusiastic female fan you may hear scream from time to time. It isn't hard to see why this album won a Grammy back in 1993, or why it continues to be a fan favorite. Along with all of it's live tracks, it contains three bonus tracks. The bouncy "No Debes Jugar" is like a "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom"-lite, and it just as amazingly performed and amazingly catchy. "Robaste Mi Corazon" Is a heartfelt ballad that finally matches Selena up with some one of nearly equal vocal talent ("Buenos Amigos" was just plain embarassing in that respect...Selena overpowered her male counterpart so blatanly), and "La llamada" is just as jaunty and firey. The live tracks are expertly performed, and the crowd is just as enthusiastic as Selena, adding extra excitement. The only place where this disk falls short is the songs Pete Astudillo is allowed to sing. Not that he lacks any talent, it's just Selena's album for god's sake. Not only that, but on "Ven Conmigo" Selena allows the crowd to sing the beautiful chorus. While this isn't totally dissapointing, it would be more interesting to hear the superstar sing it herself. Over-all, this album is a must-have. But if you want the supreme live album, I suggest the 2001 release of "Live: the last concert.""
