"Although the phrase, "can't appreciate the good without some of the bad" has been more than somewhat "abused" in the last decade with manufactured money bands, the phrase still holds water when bands like this come along. In a day and age when I'd rather jump off a high rise building than ever turn a radio on to hear what atrocities are being broadcasted on the airways (and even worse, on repeat), there is always a glimmer of hope to get me going again when I discover a new talent of wonder like Sent By Ravens. I always appreciate Amazon's below listing of "customers who bought this also bought..." because in addition to my ventures on Last.fm, I'm able to acquire my new music a lot easier and enjoyably (not to mention efficiently). Just yesterday I was on listening to some samples from the latest of the Secret & Whisper, "Teenage Fantasy" album and I discovered a band being listed below that I was completely unfamiliar with. Being the music junkie I am, and also having a fond appreciation for interesting cover art, I clicked my mouse onto the Sent By Raven's, "Our Graceful Words" album only to discover fireworks of love to my heart and ears. If my ramble about my discovery of these amazing guys seems slightly repetitive and dramatic, it's really for just cause. This CD, without question is from start to finish non-stop S&*T IN YOUR PANTS AMAZING! Not to mention a breath of fresh air as I had previously mentioned in today's cookie cutter style bands. I never questioned anything that Tooth & Nail showcases on their roster, and this band is hard ridden evidence of why. I hope this guys come to California if they don't I will most definitely have to be booking some flights to wherever it is they play because chances are if they can put an album out like this with this much POP, they must be nothing short of pure excellence on stage as well.
Rock on guys."
Awesome new band!!!

"Wow!!! what a great debut by Sent By Ravens. I loved that it didn't sound like all the usual Christian music out there. There is not a bad song here. I seriously never even thought about reaching for the skip button through the whole CD. I had been hearing "The Salt and the Light" on our local Christian Radio Station and loving it. I didn't know it was by Sent By Ravens though until I downloaded this album. If you are a fan of hard core, then check these guys out. You wont be disappointed."
Definitely found its place in my Top 5 Albums.

"I will just write a quick review on this excellent album. Our Graceful Words is basically a Hard Rock album with great tracks like New Fire, which is the best song on the album,Trailer V.S Tornadoes and This Awakening. The lyrics are really good, easy to relate to, and they are faith-based. I would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys Rock albums, with beautiful lyrics.
Recommended: All Tracks(I'm not joking, they are really all excellent)
Pros:
Excellent Vocals
Excellent Guitar Work
Excellent Lyrical Content
Cons:
I only wish this album would never end. :)

""Our Graceful Words" absolutely fine! No sad tracks and all high energy. A must for your CCM collection and of equal professional quality of bands around for centuries! From an old rocker's perspective, this is excellent new Christian rock. I hope these guys make it in the music industry.
