"Mystic Places of Dawn shows that Septic Flesh can create abysmally dark and powerful music at any speed and create the ultimate metal mood. Lyrically and musically, this is SP's best album. Even at this albums most thrashingly intense moments, the instruments blend with a melodic sensibility and symmetry that lets the lstener trancend the raw energy of the beat and grinding guitars into a state of pure musical ecstacy. The only flaw of this album is its tendancy to repeat itself, so that by the later songs, you'll wonder if you've heard them before. But what great songs they are."
