"...because this CD is much more varied than the band-name implies.
When I first heard a friend recommend Septic Flesh, I immediately assumed they were a gore/death metal band. This CD is crunchy and has growly vocals (along with other styles), but it's far more orchestral than, say, Necrophagist or Dying Fetus. This has become one of my favorite CDs of the year and I'll be expanding my SF library as soon as I can!"
It doesnt get much better than this!!!

"This is just a mind blowing and pheonominal cd. The previous reviews were good and good enough for me to buy this. I was a Septic Flesh fan 12 years ago but stopped listening to them and got rid of the cd's--I know, I'm stupid. But atleast I found my way back. This cd is a sonic masterpiece for extreme metal. It is brutal, has melody--but not melodic and is mutlifaceted. The symphony is great but it is not overbearing. Fans of Arcturus will like this. The song writting is great, the songs dont blend together and paint an incredible sonic tapestry. Some of the clean vocals are a little quirkey but still are a part of the whole piece. This is like combining albums like "Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion" from Old Mans Child, "Equilibrium IX" from Emperor, early Vader and throw in a little Dimmu Borgir. The vocals though are downright dark and as cheesy as it sounds--evil. Album of the year!!!! Hope you are lucky like me to get the limited edition with the mindblowing Egyptian artwork. The metal God's are smiling on us!!!"
