AWSOME NEW SEPULTURA

"This ep would have to be an awsome insight to the sessions that went into Against. The stand out track would have to be the waste with Mike Patton, which is a remake of the Against track Kamatchi. This only for the true fans who have stuck by the band. People like me who put all hatred aside and totally begin to love this band again, it is a must have."

"Tribus is an odd Australian Import EP that features 6 songs from Sepultura's Against era. If you are a big new Sepultura fan, you'll definitely want this. If you are a completist, you'll end up getting this anyways. I always considered Against to be their worst album, but I find myself listening to that one the most out of all the Derrick CDs up until the recent release of Dante XXI. Against suffered because the band was still figuring out what to do and the overall production was a little weak compared to what it could have been. This EP though, gives some insight into what the recording process of Against was like. The problem is that finding this EP is VERY difficult. So far Amazon.com has been the only place I could find one and it was used (though still in good condition). If you want all the rare Sepultura tracks from the Against era, hunt this down as well as their Choke single which has two more rare songs.
1. The Waste 10/10: Remember the song Kamaitachi? It's the same thing except with Mike Patton on vocals. It's become a song about drugs. Mike's vocals fit perfectly. This is the most common of all the song's you'll find here. Roadrunner released it a while ago on the Freddy Vs. Jason soundtrack.
2. Tribus (Demo) 8/10: Noticeably different and 7 seconds longer
3. Common Bond (Alternate Mix) 9/10: Awesome song. The difference is not too noticeable, pretty much the overall sound, its 6 seconds longer as well.
4. Unconcious (Demo) 5/10: 5 seconds longer, I didn't care much for the original so the same applies here. It's an alright song.
5. F.O.E. (Extended Mix) 9/10: 56 seconds longer and noticeably different.
6. Prenúncio 10/10: A Live song when they were on tour. Basically this Brazilian guy named Coffin Joe who walks out on stage and says some spoken word while Sepultura plays a little background music. This is the same man who does the intro speech in Live in Sao Paulo. The man's voice sounds very evil, perhaps that's why I like it so much. Coffin Joe is also the man who introduced Sepultura in the Live in Sao Paulo CD and DVD.
So get this if you are a big fan of new Sepultura or are a Sepultura completist. As I said it gives some insight into the recording process of Against. Hoped this helped."
