Soulful footstompin' blues

"There are a lot of new bands, especially out of Austin, that call themselves "blues bands," but they usually rehash blues cliches, worn out lyrical themes, 12-bar patterns, and Mel-Bay pentatonic licks.
Seth's music adds a fresh, hip, original, and inspiring touch while still maintaining a vintage blues feel. His soulful singing and thought-out songwriting adds to the sincerity and authenticity of his music and not another hashed-out blues album.
Yes, Seth is a blues artist out of Austin, but make no mistake, he is far from a Stevie Ray or Eric Clapton clone. His style of blues is more of Ray Charles' singing and songwriting style mixed with the guitarwork of T-Bone Walker. He blends Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas blues, and the result is something that will make your foot tap, but boogie, and head sway.
