"When it comes to modern rock music most of it sounds the same with the exception of a few bands, Seven Channels is one of those few new bands that are just incredible. I saw them in concert when they opened for Nickelback, I think it should of been the other way around. This band so much better than Nickelback and I think it's an insult for them to share the same bill with Nickelback.The songs on the self-titled debut release vary in tempo and are all pleasing to listen to. "Velcro Parade," "Breathe," and "Superconnected" are all great songs. This album should be in every rock fan's library. I give Seven Channels' debut album five stars."

"I first heard these guys while they were performing as an opening act for Collective Soul. In person, they gave a very energetic, lively performance... very impressive... I ordered their CD the next day.Their sound might be best described as a youthfull cross of alternative and rock, with powerful vocals and guitar... yet the music has clear, clean melodies. Very nice."

Seven channels are the best.

"I first heard them play a show in Houston replacing Tantric. They had a great sound and i rushed out and bought this CD. After further research and wondering " What Happened to them" i discovered that their name has changed to The Vanished. So now you know what happened to them. :)"

"As I look through my CD library and uncover albums I totally forgot I owned, I occasionally come across CD's that leave me rather stumped. I'm left scratching my head wondering why I own them in the first place. What in the world could have possessed me to buy this? That question was raised when I found Pressure 4-5's album. That question was also raised when I saw Seven Channels' debut album in my pile. I looked at it and thought `this looks cheap' and then I loaded it into my computer and listened to the first track and thought `this sounds cheap' and then listened to the second track and thought `this sounds awful' and it soon became obvious that I was going to have to suffer through this in order to write a review.

The singer is obnoxious. That is the first coherent thought I have regarding this album. It's funny because another reviewer titled his review `obnoxious car singer' and when I first read that I thought `now there is someone who agrees with me' and then I realized that he didn't.

The album is just a collection of below mediocre rock tracks with no edge and no oomph. There is nothing here that is worth writing about really. Ugh, I hate that. I mean, I have nothing to say but the same `this song is bad', `this song is worse', `don't understand why people like this song' and so to save myself from becoming redundant and annoying I'm simply going to say that this album is dreadful and I'm not surprised I forgot I owned it.

I am, however, surprised that I do own it."
